A Brunetti wine box filled with a bottle of Vin Santo and traditional Cantucci biscuits.
“Vin Santo played an important and prominent part in the history of Tuscan wine. Dating back to the Middle Ages, its beginning was proclaimed in 1348 by a friar in Siena who cured the sick with a wine normally used by the brothers to celebrate the mass, the conviction that this was a miraculous wine spread through Tuscany leading to labelling the wine as “santo”. This wine is typically accompanied with Cantucci biscuits, a crunchy almond biscuit which is dipped into the wine to soften and accentuate the flavour.
Brunetti has imported this special wine from Tuscany to share with you this old tradition with our own freshly baked Cantucci biscuits. To order.
